Marvellous end to Term 1!
And just like that Term 1 was done! The marvellous Meerkats certainly deserve their title as they truly are a marvellous bunch of children. They have gelled so well as a team, worked their socks off every day, shown such kindness to each other whilst enthusiastically jumping into all the learning this term. Well done!
It so lovely to meet with so many of you this week to share your child’s learning with you. May I take this opportunity to say thank you for all your continued support, it is very much appreciated.
We finished the term with a Harvest celebration service. The children sang with gusto and enthusiasm and I am sure you will continue to hear the songs being sung over the holidays. Again, it was great to see so many of you there and a big thank you to all the parents who walked with us to the church as again without your help we could not attend these services.
Just a few reminders for Term 2
- PE is on Monday and Thursday – children to wear PE kit to school.
- Book change day is Friday (but please send reading folders in every day)
- The weather has definitely turned chilly so please ensure you child has a coat at school every day.
- Please label all uniform, including coats.
Term 2 starts on Monday 3rd November. I will be in class Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Mrs Millard will be teaching Meerkat Class on the Monday. Our wonderful TAs, Miss Smith and Miss Lloyd will be in every day.
