Pandas 5th December

This Week we have been reading the Emperors egg. We have been acting like penguins to help us think about the imperative verbs we could use to tell Edward, the expectant dad penguin how to look after his egg and the well being of his chick. The children had great fun sliding across the tables like penguins, waddling around with an egg between our legs and huddling together to keep warm.

In Math's we have continued to explore shapes and and have been naming, finding the faces and edges of the 3d shapes. Maybe you could ask the children to name the shapes they can see around your house?
