So long, farewell!

Although a busy week in Glow Worm class, the main event was saying goodbye to lovely Miss Thomas. She has been with us since February and has been fantastic. You may have found a 'cookie' in their hands as they left yesterday. Hopefully the children explained that this was part of a great game the children' used to play and we will carry it on! Miss Thomas is returning to London but hopefully she will pop in, or even call us before the summer. 

As always, it has been really busy in class. The Year 1 children have been consolidating their money work whilst the Year 2 children have been investigating microhabitats. Then everyone had a visit from Harold the giraffe. 

Glow Worm's have been working hard on their daily skipping and we now have 100% of our children who can do 5 skips. Everyone should have a medal from Mrs Kerbey. We all went on the playground to do a ginormous class skip!

Next week - Year 1 trip on Wednesday. Sports day on Friday. Please ensure the children have sun cream and a hat. 

ALL CHIDLREN NEED TO COME TO SCHOOL IN PE KIT ON TUESDAY AND FRIDAY TILL THE END OF TERM.
