Sports and Sunshine
What another wonderful week it has been in Wallabies. We had our Sports day practice on Tuesday and the children worked so hard and always had a big smile on their faces. We were also so proud of how well all the children did in Sport’s Day yesterday! They all tried their absolute best and also worked so well in their teams. Great work Wallabies!
This week in Drawing Club, we have been really enjoying the story ‘Hundred Double decker Bus’. The children had to draw their very own bus driver, bus and obstacle the bus had to get over. Their work was so imaginative and they all wrote some fantastic secret codes.
In maths, we have continued looking at shape. We are amazed at how many they know. They can also talk about the shapes properties too.
In Music, we have finished learning Big Bear Funk and enjoyed singing a variety of songs including Head’s Shoulders, Knees and Toes. In history the children have been thinking about Westbury and why we need maps.
Have a wonderful half term. The children have worked so hard and are now ready for a rest. We will look forward to seeing you on Monday June 2nd.
