This week in MIllipedes 25.11.22

Term Two; Week Four

This week we have continued our exploration of the woodland. The children have shown a great love for the animals of the woods and their different homes. We have discussed the meaning of nocturnal and looked at the different animals that are awake in the day and the night.

The children have made some amazing autumn art work, both of animals and the woods they live in!

Alongside this the children have been stretching their writing skills and have produced some amazing work, writing about their woodland pictures.

 We finished our week making cakes as part of maths! The children did some amazing measureing and weighing to make our brilliant fairy cakes!

In Read Write Inc the Millipedes have been making fantastic progress, there has been some changes to some groups and the children continue to rise to the task and have been doing themselves proud!

Next week we start our Christmas celebrations and rehearsing for the school nativity. Letters will have gone home about the part your children have chosen in out play! We can’t wait to start practicing!
