The Seagulls took my lunch!

This week in Millipedes our book has been the lighthouse keepers’ lunch!

We have explored lighthouses and their function finding out how to stay safe at sea.

The children have loved looking at maps of the seaside and have created so much art relating to our story we had to make a whole new display. They have a particular love for seagulls (see pics below) from the story.

The children continue in their RWI groups. I am taking purple group and they have adjusted really well to the new groups and are writing so well! The RWI blog is really helpful for practicing at home if you would like.
