This week in Millipedes 18.11.22

This week we have started our exploration of traditional tales with the story of Goldilocks and the three bears.

The children have read and acted out the story, thinking about sequencing and the thoughts of the characters involved.

Together we have looked at old and new versions of the story, spotting what has changed in the story through time. We have seen how cloths have changes as well as the styles of furniture and ways of cooking!

The eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed that we have had Ofsted in this week. We are yet to hear a result of the inspection but the children did themselves and the school proud! Thank you, Millipedes, for being such excellent students.

The week ended with Children in need day. The children all came to school in Mufti, paying a pound to charity, and we talked about how children in need helps loads of children around the country.

In Read Write Inc the Millipedes have been making fantastic progress in their exploration of sounds and writing words!
