Water everywhere!
What a hot week has been! The children have coped incredibly well in the heat and have enjoyed completing some of their learning outside.
We have begun reading a new story called The Building Boy. You can find a link to the text here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F60sUHD_azE . The children have made predictions and discussing the events of the story in preparation for us writing our own.
Maths has seen the welcome return of capacity meaning we have been having fun with water! We have been investigating how much different containers can hold whilst reading the scales and using the correct vocabulary.
As part of our History, we have continued to look at the Great Fire of London, thinking about why it spread so quickly and how we know about the different events. We have been the most fantastic Historians!
