What inspires you?

This week we started our new topic all about Georgia O'Keeffe. The children have found it really interesting learning about the famous American artist and I have been really impressed with the work that has been bought in from home. Today we thought about what inspired Georgia O'Keeffe to create her art work. We then went outside to see what would inspire us. We talked about how to hold the pencil to create different effects as we sketch. We used light and dark strokes and tried really hard to focus on the details in the objects we found inspired us.
