World Book Day Words

We had a fantastic day yesterday dressing up not in a costume of a character from a book but by bringing the words used in these books to life instead.  We had a great collection of words and here's a challenge.  How many of the words can you use to  make a really interesting sentence?

Here are our words

Glittery , sleepy, rose, sparkly, magical, bravery, dreamy, sporty, adventure, doctor, intelligent, tangled web, Godly, bones, strong, birthday and colourful.

This week we have also enjoyed learning outside the classroom by looking closely at the leaves and trees and trying out using different thicknesses of lines to sketch what we have observed.  We practiced using different types of pencils for shading and using different thicknesses of lines to see what effect it had on our sketches.  We also experimented with different thicknesses of brushes to help us understand that when we want to colour a large area of our picture we can use a thick brush but when we want to add details we would need to use a small brush.
