Friday 3rd December - Singing songs

We had a wonderful week at school this week. We have been very busy continuing to review our sounds in our new Read Write Inc groups. We got asked what we would like to be in the school nativity play and we were given our different roles. We have started practicing our songs for our nativity which has been very fun. 

This week a real Christmas Tree arrived in the classroom, all the children have loved seeing it. We also have had a visit from the Kindness Elf who asks us to do special tasks everyday which is really exciting. 

On Friday we walked down to church and we sang lots of songs at our Christmas Service. We really enjoyed learning the songs especially the song 'Away in a Manger'.
