Provision Maps
At our Infant school, we are committed to supporting every child to thrive by offering a graduated approach to support that meets a wide range of needs.
For all learners, we provide quality-first teaching and ordinarily available provision. This means high-quality, inclusive classroom teaching where lessons are carefully adapted to support different learning styles, ensuring all children can access and engage with the curriculum.
For some children, we offer targeted support. This involves additional, time-limited interventions or small group work designed to address specific areas of need—such as speech and language development, early reading skills, or social communication. These interventions are closely monitored and adapted to ensure children make good progress.
For a smaller number of children with more complex needs, we provide specialist support. This may include working with external professionals such as speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, or other specialist services to ensure the right strategies and support are in place.
The grids below outline in more detail what this support looks like in both our mainstream and Resource Base (RB) settings.
