Goodbye and Thank You Beetle Class

 Dear Beetle Class,

This is our last class blog for the year and I just want to say a huge big thank you Beetle Class!  It has been an honour and a joy to be your teacher this year and what a year you have had!  You have grown your brains, lost some teeth and are all certainly taller than you were last September, as the class photos taken in September and July show.  I would also like to take the opportunity here to thank your parents, for their continued support throughout the year and especially with their engagement with the parent events and trips.  It has been very much appreciated.

Looking back through your books and our class blog photos I can see what an amazing journey you have been on.  You should all be very proud of yourselves for the effort and enthusiasm you have put into your learning each and every day.  You are a remarkable bunch of children.  You have shown kindness, support and encouragement to each other throughout the year and it is no surprise that we all know you as the Brilliant Beetles.

It was so lovely to see you finish the year as a true team on Sports Day earlier this week; cheering each other and the rest of the school on and taking care of each other.   (Please see the school Facebook page for lots of pictures from the day.)

They say that every star shines differently, well it has been my pleasure to watch you all sparkle and shine.  Keep doing what you are doing and fly high my superstars.

Good luck as you move into Year 3.  You have been the best!

From,

Mrs Jeffery, Mrs Rockey, Miss Smith and Mrs Ball

The children have their Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday 25 July at 2.15pm.  The event will be held at the Westbury Community Project (next to the school).  We look forward to seeing you there.  Please see this week’s newsletter with additional details.
