Fabulous Firefly Class

This week, Firefly class have gone from strength to strength. It's like we have always been together. They have risen to the challenge of being in Year 2 brilliantly. 

It has been another fantastic week for learning. We have been partitioning numbers as part of our Maths work and making life cycles and discussing the process. Then we were working in groups with The Bees to read and perform poems as part of our English and Science links. After that, we had a go at writing our own acrostic poems about plants and trees. They are brilliant!

Next week school is closed on Monday for the funeral. There will be a meet the teacher meeting at 2.30 on Wednesday in the classroom. This will finish in time for you to collect any siblings from the junior school. As usual, Miss McMillan will be in class on Friday.
