Friday 13th January

Our Reception and Year One children have been learning the story 'The Gingerbread Man.'  They  made their own gingerbread men out of gingerbread playdough and  used a variety of collage materials to decorate them.  They have also been trying hard to retell the story using small world animals.

Our Year One children have been busy learning about the UK.  They looked carefully at various different London landmarks and had a go at drawing their favourite.  In maths, they have been using number lines to count on and back.

Our Year Two children have also been busy in maths.  They have been learning about money and have made different amounts using coins and notes.  In science, they have been learning about materials and their properties.  They spent some time looking at a variety of different objects to see what they were made from.
