We have had a very festive week in Dragonfly Class. The children put on two fantastic performances of the ‘Wriggly Nativity’. We are so proud of the children for learning so many songs and for having the confidence to perform to a large audience.

When we were not rehearsing the children could take part in a range of craft activities. We have featured the children’s fantastic Christmas cards.
Dragonflies Christmas Cards
The children have enjoyed playing this week in all the different areas pretending to have a Christmas dinner in the role-play area, creating a new sleigh for Santa and painting Christmas pictures. It was lots of fun.
On Friday, it was Christmas dinner day! It was lovely to see the children looking festive and laughing along to the Christmas cracker jokes. The children loved the surprise visit from Santa and were delighted to share their Christmas wishes with him.
Dragonflies Christmas Lunch
In the afternoon we had fun with some dancing and at the end of the day we watched the cbeebies pantomime to get into the Christmas Spirit.
Looking back over the last term it is amazing to see the progress that the children have made and they should be very proud of themselves.
The Dragonfly team would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy new year. We hope you have lots of fun over the break and we look forward to welcoming the children back on the 5th January 2023.
