The Gingerbread man returns!

Term Three; Week Three

I hope the Millipedes and their families had a relaxing Christmas and new year’s, it’s been great to see the children again after the break.

We have continued to explore the gingerbread man! The children were visited by the gingerbread man at the start of the week but he fast disappeared!

The children made traps for the gingerbread man and wrote him letters! Thanks to all their hard work the Gingerbread man came back on Friday and helped with the children making their own Gingerbread men.

In PE this week the children have stated gymnastics! We have been exploring how to use the apparatus and large equipment. The children have been so brave and shown some amazing skills that they will continue to develop over the coming weeks.

In Read Write Inc we continue with our new groups. I am enjoying getting to know my new group and look forward to making good progress with this group of children from across the reception classes in the coming term.
