Mrs Stacey Budge
Our Headteacher has been a Headteacher at Westbury Infants for seven years and oversees the school and its entire operation. Some of her many roles are being trained in the Thrive Approach, Designated Safeguarding Lead and part of the IYFAP panel for the county. She is also very active in the WASP (Westbury Area Schools Partnership).

Our Deputy Headteacher has worked at local schools before arriving at WIS four years ago. She is a county KS1 moderator and is the DDSL. She also is the PP and Disadvantaged Learners Lead. Â

Mr Peter Mould
Our Resource Base Manager has many years of experience across the school providing support to parents and pupils. His main focus is to manage the Bears' provision and to lead the support staff that teach these children with complex needs. He is part of a job share that covers these roles.

Our SENCO works across the school support to parents, pupils and teachers in a number of ways. Her main focus is SEND, however she also works closely with Early Help and Social Services to provide support for families who need it.

Mrs Michelle Macfarlane
Our RWI Lead trains and monitors RWI group leaders across the school. Her main focus is to monitor and assess children in every year group to ensure they are making progress. Mrs Macfarlane's role as a THRIVE practitioner offers practical strategies and techniques which is built around online assessments which identify children's emotional development and provides action plans for their individual needs.

We have a fantastically skilled and diverse team of teachers who have a wide range of experience and who teach our 10 classes.
Each class has a maximum number of 30 pupils in each class but we try to keep them as small in number as we can. We are proud of each and every one of them.

We are fortunate that each class has also has a dedicated skilled TA to support teaching and learning during the school day. Some children also have a TA to support their extra needs.
These adults also work in a multitude of ways working with individuals, groups and supporting the whole class.

Pet Therapy Dog
Rosie Rainbow joined us during lockdown and is being trained as our pet therapy dog. She belongs to Mrs Rockey who will bring her in Mon-Wed every week.
